Candy cane...

Advent Day15 brought to you by Epic the narwhal...

This guy is dedicated to my middle man, a boy with a love for all things narwhalian. And why "Epic"?...Well aside from my boy's appreciation for epicness in all forms, I'm fairly certain that that horn/tusk thingy is made of the same stuff as candy canes...mmmm...totally epic...

Oh dear~I think our little puddle of ocean is looking rather crowded. I may have to do a bit more landscape knitting soon. For now though, it's back to Santa's workshop for me. Lots of making still to go ; )
Hope your Thursday is full of goodness!
Until tomorrow...

Wednesday wanderings...

Advent Day 14! Say hello to Magellan~a very sweet if somewhat directionally challenged penguin...

As you can see he is settling in quite well, and we're ever so glad that his poor navigational skills brought him to our little party. We're getting quite a group...

I wonder who tomorrow will bring. In the meantime, I hope you have a very happy today. See you soon!

Outfoxed...

Advent Day 13!...

I had to include a picture of my foxy muse. Susie looks a little nonplussed here, but I predict that she and Fixxy Fox will be good friends in no time.
Have a very happy Tuesday friends!...

Let it snow...

Advent Day 10...oh my! You didn't think I'd forgotten, did you?...

Okay, okay, I know, not the most exciting addition to the Advent calendar, but let me explain. We have had a snowless fall here in the Midwest (really-like almost no snow at all-so sad), so lest our little group of friends
experience the same fate, I thought I should create a little handmade snow for them. And maybe, just maybe, fingers crossed and all, their snow will bring a little our way too...

Happy weekending friends!

Into the breach...

Advent Day 8!

This baby beluga has me a little bleary this morning. He came along after a couple of false starts last night. Following a few of not-so-hot auditions from other potential group members, I decided that it might be a good night for knitting landscape~hence the big blue patch. But if you're going to knit bit of ocean, you're going to need a whale to put in it...

Until tomorrow : )
